Remote support allows a technician to connect to your computer remotely and either view or control your session.
This is used for technicians to resolve problems that can sometimes be complicated or difficult to describe during a support call.
Instructions:
Please close any sensitive or proprietary information prior to the remote control session.
Enter the code provided by your technician and click [Connect to technician].
Open the
Logmein Rescue
program when it is downloaded.
A chat window will open that can be used to communicate with your technician.
When prompted, please allow the technician access to view and control your computer by clicking [OK].
The support session can be ended at anytime by closing the chat window.
Microsoft Windows Users:
If you receive a Windows UAC message, please allow Rescue to elevate your session and make changes to your device.
If you receive a Windows Firewall Alert, this can be closed and will not affect the session.
Apple Mac OS Users:
If you receive an Apple Security and Privacy alert, please allow the application to open.
